Helena Lam, a fourth-year student at the MU School of Medicine, received the Knights Templar Eye Foundation Travel Award from the Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). She will present her research at the organization’s annual meeting April 28 through May 2 in Vancouver, Canada.
Lam works in the laboratory of Rajiv Mohan, PhD, the Ruth M. Kraeuchi Endowed Professor in Veterinary Ophthalmology and the College of Veterinary Medicine’s director of international outreach.
ARVO is the world’s largest international eye research professional society.
