Lectures and Exams, March 16-20: I know that many of you are concerned about how the University and College of Veterinary Medicine will implement some aspects of the switch to distance learning in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. As I’m sure you understand, this situation is fluid and we are striving to respond to rapid changes while guarding the health and well-being of our faculty, staff and students and creating minimal disruption to your studies.
In response to some of the questions I have received, I want to share that next week’s lecture and exam schedules have not changed. Courses and tests will be available via distance learning tools and tests will be given at regular times in the CDT zone unless you hear otherwise from your instructor. Some instructors may post their materials ahead of time to accommodate asynchronous learning. No labs will take place next week, or obviously during Spring Break. We are working with instructors on how we will handle labs following spring break, and we will keep you apprised of our plans.
Please feel free to contact Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Angela Tennison with any questions or concerns.
