This committee will:

1. Choose outside speakers to address the CVM faculty and students.

2. Solicit outside funds to support an ongoing seminar series.

3. Work with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to schedule a time when the majority of DVM faculty and students will be able to attend seminars.

Currently, a framework is in place that will provide funding through the Office of Research and the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. The committee should seek to expand this funding with outside funds.

The committee will be made up of one faculty member from each department. The Director of CE will be an ex officio member. The College Editor and Development Officer will serve as advisors.
