The responsibilities of this committee include:

1. Advising the Office of Extension and Continuing Education.

2. Improving the amount and quality of professional continuing education offered at the CVM to faculty, house officers, and Missouri veterinarians.

3. Investigate novel ways to deliver continuing education.

4. Inform the Dean of the activity of the CE office and provide recommendations to improve its effectiveness.

The committee will be made up of 4 faculty members from the clinical science area, 4 from the preclinical science areas. All departments must be represented on the committee. The college editor and extension veterinarians will be ex officio members. The Director of Continuing Education will serve as the chair.

This committee will meet twice yearly and minutes of the meetings will be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs.
