E-mail

E-mail services provided by the University can be one of two types depending on weather the e-mail user is a student or faculty/staff.  Faculty and staff e-mail accounts are hosted by the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) via Microsoft Exchange.  For faculty and staff, this account is tied to the Active Directory (PawPrint) account used to log in to most University resources.  Student e-mail accounts are hosted externally via Microsoft Outlook Live.  Student e-mail accounts have login names identical to the student’s PawPrint while being maintained independently with a separate password.
