The responsibilities of the Graduate & Resident Training Committee are as follows:
- Evaluate and monitor graduate and resident training programs at the CVM.
- Inform the Dean’s Office of problems with graduate or residency training.
- Recommend changes to improve the quality or efficiency of training programs.
Committee makeup: The committee shall consist of one faculty member each from the Departments of Biomedical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine & Surgery, and Veterinary Pathobiology. To be eligible, members must be on the Graduate Faculty or Director of Resident Training. Each faculty member will serve a three-year term. The Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies serves as the committee Chair.
Meetings and Minutes: The committee will meet at least twice yearly. Minutes of the meeting will be submitted to the Office of Research.
