Entering First-Year Students

• Start looking for privately funded scholarships about one year before you anticipate entering vet school. Check out local organizations, etc., and try some of the free national scholarship searches linked to this Web site.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 15, 2024.  You may complete the FAFSA online at fafsa.gov. MU’s FAFSA school code is 002516.  MU will receive your FAFSA electronically from the federal processor.  
• If you accept federal student loans, you may be required to complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN) and entrance counseling before funds can be disbursed to your MU student account.  The request to complete the MPN / entrance counseling will post to your myZou “To Do List”if you are required to complete.
• Pay your seat deposit by April 15.

Continuing Students

Complete the renewal FAFSA by February 1, 2024 to ensure timely notification and receipt of aid.  The MU school code is 002516.
