Gregory Vernon, DVM, ACVR-Radiology, who completed a radiation oncology residency at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, successfully passed the American College of Veterinary Radiology radiation oncology board examination. Vernon is now recognized as a board-certified radiation oncologist.
“I am really happy to have passed boards,” said Vernon. “I think it goes to show how great mentorship and hard work can go a long way. I’m very excited to serve a high-demand area in Denver, where there seems to be a pet everywhere you look. My hope is to maintain good quality of life in as many cancer patients as I can.”
Vernon will be starting a new position at the Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado in Denver at the end of October.
