Transfer requests are considered only from veterinary students in good standing at programs fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
To be considered for potential transfer, there must be an opening in the class you wish to join and you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Have completed all prerequisite undergraduate level coursework at a regionally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Are currently enrolled and in good academic standing at an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine.
- Have satisfactorily completed all courses equivalent to those offered at the Mizzou CVM up to the point of requested entry.
- Have not been previously denied admission to the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine as a first-year student.
