The University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine had a strong presence at the 2026 Missouri Veterinary Medical Association Convention, connecting with veterinary professionals from across the state through education, collaboration and conversation.
The college was especially proud to celebrate John Dodam, DVM, MS, PhD, DACVAA, who was named the 2026 Missouri Veterinary Medical Association Veterinarian of the Year. In addition, numerous Mizzou CVM faculty members were honored for their contributions to veterinary medicine, education and service.
From continuing education sessions to meaningful connections with alumni and partners, the convention highlighted the strength of Missouri’s veterinary community and the impact of Mizzou-trained and Mizzou-led expertise across the profession.
