Rajiv Mohan, PhD, FARVO, FAAAS, a Curators’ Distinguished Professor of Ophthalmology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, was recently named a recipient of the Provost’s Award for Leadership in International Education. The award recognizes Mizzou faculty who have provided outstanding leadership in strengthening the university’s international dimension.

Mohan’s leadership in international education has significantly enriched Mizzou’s global presence. As director of international outreach for the College of Veterinary Medicine and the School of Medicine since 2019, he has fostered partnerships with institutions across Australia, India, Singapore, South Korea, Brazil, Japan and Europe.

Mohan received numerous nominations for the award, including one from John Dodam, DVM, MS, PhD, a professor and Chair of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.

“Rajiv is an invaluable and world-renowned faculty member,” Dodam said. “He’s a citizen of the world who is dedicated to helping our students understand that world — while inviting the world to engage with the University of Missouri.”
