Etiology: Bordetella hinzii is a small, Gram-negative rod of the family Alcaligenaceae.
Incidence: The incidence of infection is rare. No naturally occurring disease has been reported.
Transmission: Transmission occurs through aerosol or direct contact.
Clinical Signs: No naturally occurring clinical disease has been reported.
Diagnosis: Diagnosis can be made using MFI, IFA, PCR or culture.
