The responsibilities of the CVM Committee on Veterinary Distance and Online Programs are as follows:
Act as college wide resource and in advisory capacity as needed to support veterinary online & distance education.
This may include but is not limited to providing contact information for resources, support for moving traditional courses to an online format, assistance with educator training, providing review and feedback on new courses, publicizing new information regarding online course development or online student evaluations and/or collecting and directing concerns about online or distance education.
Committee makeup: The committee will be made up of the Director of Online Programs, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate studies, one faculty member from each of the academic departments, a representative from each college online program and a representative from Missouri Online.
Meetings and Minutes: The committee will meet at least once a year. Committee business will primarily be handled via email. Minutes of the meeting will be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs and to the CVM Faculty Policy Committee.
