RESEARCH INTERESTS
- Molecular biology, pathogenesis, and receptor biology of viral pathogens, with a focus on influenza virus, and rotavirus.
- Development and validation of molecular diagnostics assays for veterinary infectious diseases.
- Application of next-generation sequencing (short and long read sequencing) for disease diagnosis, genomic surveillance, outbreak investigation, antimicrobial resistance monitoring, and pathogen discovery.
- Development of in-vitro and in-vivo models to investigate host-pathogen interaction studies.
