PAVE Provides International Students with a Pathway to Practice in the United States
Published 2/02/2023The Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence, or PAVE, is a pathway for veterinarians who are graduates of international, non-accredited veterinary programs, to practice in the United States. At the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine there are currently eight students from around the world who are pursuing that opportunity.
CVM Raptor Rehab Houses Harlan’s Hawk for More than 35 Years

However, there are times when birds are not able to be released due to their condition.

Published 11/10/2022In March 2021, Steve Kasper’s 9-year-old beagle mix, Spirit, began refusing to go on her daily 4-mile walk. Suddenly, Spirit was easily getting winded. Based on her clinical picture and the appearance of her lungs on radiographs, her veterinarian suspected the dog had contracted a fungal infection and referred Kasper, of Battlefield, Missouri, and Spirit to the MU Veterinary Health Center.
