RESEARCH INTERESTS
The major focus of Dr. Carson’s research is water quality. Emphasis is on advancing technology for identification of human and nonhuman sources of fecal pollution in waterways. His laboratory is also engaged in bacterial source tracking services based on DNA fingerprinting methods.
