RESEARCH INTERESTS

Collaborative research with clinical and basic science researchers; special interest in blood parasites, lipid metabolism and instructional methodologies.

TEACHING

Lectures and labs in multiple team taught courses in the veterinary curriculum including: Veterinary Systemic Pathology, Veterinary Clinical Pathology and the required Diagnostic Pathology clinical rotation. Course Coordinator for Veterinary Clinical Pathology. Coordinator of elective clinical rotations in Clinical Pathology. Graduate: Lectures and discussions in Advanced Clinical Pathology. Clinical Pathology Resident training, largely done in conjunction with diagnostic service responsibilities in the clinical pathology section of the Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory and via regular participation in Cytology Rounds, Clinical Chemistry Case Discussion, Pathology Rounds and Clinical Pathology Journal Club.
