The medical records committee is responsible for addressing policies and procedures relating to the electronic and written medical records at the VHC.  Recommendations of this committee are transmitted to the hospital area board for consideration. The medical records committee should meet at least once annually to review the policies and procedures relating to medical records management. This report should be submitted annually to the Hospital Area Board. Recommendations from this committee will be made to the VHC director and the hospital area board.
