This committee includes the small animal intern coordinator and small animal area coordinators as  voting members. The department chair and hospital director will serve as ex officio members. This committee is responsible for selection of small animal interns, and will participate in the evaluation of policies and procedures as they relate to house officer training. The committee will also organize the house officer seminar series with departmental administrative help. The resident/intern committee may be asked to participate in the evaluation of a house officer if performance is deemed to be unsatisfactory. They will make recommendations to the department chair and VHC director.
