Externship: Observational experience	Veterinary students in good academic standing from an AVMA recognized college or foreign veterinary institution. Observation only – no case responsibilities.	Application Letter of verification from institution official Official reciprocal agreement with home institution Confidentiality statement, participant waiver Proof of Rabies and Tetanus immunization or signed waiver declining	Training fee is waived if visit is 2 weeks or less and the potential of a reciprocal training of MU students at home institution. Training of $500/week if visit exceeds 2 weeks or if reciprocal agreement is not likely between institutions.
Externship: Students of AVMA accredited schools without a teaching hospital	Veterinary student currently enrolled in AVMA accredited schools without a teaching hospital and in Good Standing. Typical visit: 1-2 rotations. Treated as one of our sudents – has case responsibilities. Resident or Intern veterinarians from private veterinary practice	Veterinarian enrolled in a Residency or Internship Program. Has case responsibilities if licensed in state of Missouri. Veterinarians licensed to practice in United States of America for continuing education credit	Veterinarians licensed to practice in some State in the United States of America. Observation only. Veterinarians – Foreign national / unlicensed	Graduates of foreign veterinary schools. Observation only. No continuing education credit.
