Graduate-Resident Training Committee

The responsibilities of the Graduate & Resident Training Committee are as follows:

  1. Evaluate and monitor graduate and resident training programs at the CVM.
  2. Inform the Dean’s Office of problems with graduate or residency training.
  3. Recommend changes to improve the quality or efficiency of training programs.

Committee makeup: The committee shall consist of one faculty member each from the Departments of Biomedical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine & Surgery, and Veterinary Pathobiology. To be eligible, members must be on the Graduate Faculty or Director of Resident Training. Each faculty member will serve a three-year term. The Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies serves as the committee Chair.

Meetings and Minutes: The committee will meet at least twice yearly. Minutes of the meeting will be submitted to the Office of Research.
