Small Animal Area Meeting Minutes

The charge of the Small Animal Area (SAA) is as follows:

  1. Hold regular meetings to facilitate information transfer to and from the hospital advisory board (HAB) to the SAA faculty members.
  2. Provide a forum for all small animal sections to identify, discuss, and solve  problems/issues related to the Small Animal Hospital.
  3. Meetings should be held with at least the same frequency as HAB meetings. Minutes of the meetings should be published in a place accessible to SAA faculty members.
  4. Discuss and evaluate function of  teaching, research, and clinical missions (and to resolve conflicts when they arise).
  5. Choose award winners among students and residents as directed by the Dean’s Office for SAA relevant awards (by faculty vote).
