RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Beerntsen’s research focus is on mosquito-parasite interactions, vector-pathogen interactions and mosquito immunity, particularly recognition and signal transduction mechanisms involved in the innate immunity of mosquitoes against pathogens.
